The catering facility prepares food for patients, hospital staff and visiting diners. Meals are prepared according to the principles of healthy nutrition within the framework of the entire dietary system, including special and individual dietary procedures tailored to the needs of the individual patient.
Meals are served four times a day: breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. Diabetic dieters are also provided with a second dinner.
A therapeutic diet is determined by physicians of each department based on the patient’s clinical problems and is free of charge. We also respect vegetarian patients.
If the treatment is not related to a digestive tract disease and the diet does not interfere with the treatment, the patient has the option to choose a special meal plan according to the menu on offer, which is already available for an extra charge.
Therapeutic diet
The price of 250,- CZK per day includes:
- a daily visit by a nutritional therapist
- the selection of a special individual diet according to the tastes and habits of the client
- preparation of the menu
- 100 g meat portion
- meals 4 times a day: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner
The price of 300,- CZK per day includes:
- a daily visit by a nutritional therapist
- the selection of a special individual diet according to the tastes and habits of the client
- preparation of the menu
- 150 g meat portion
- meals 4 times a day: breakfast, lunch, snack, diner
- 1.5 litres of mineral water of the client’s choice (sparkling, still, flavoured)
In addition, patients can buy salads, both side salads and salads in lieu of lunch or dinner.
Hospital staff are also offered all-day meals within the scope of the entire dietary system. At lunch, hospital staff can choose from two hot meals and one type of lunchtime vegetable salad each day. There are also three types of side vegetable salads on offer.
Soup is always included in the lunch or offered as a separate dish with pastries. The same meal offer applies to visiting diners.
